Our history in the bus market began in 1947, when we introduced the “V” transmission for the GM Coach Division. The GM buses transported millions of passengers in North America for more than 30 years. Proven Electric Hybrid Solutions

Allison introduced its first electric hybrid propulsion system for transit buses more than 20 years ago. The Allison eGen Flex^® is our next-generation solution, capable of operating up to 50% of a bus’s route in engine-off mode. The system’s electric-only mode is activated through geofencing technology and eliminates engine emissions and noise in pre-defined zones.
